Boat Neck Pullover

I loved the pattern on this shirt, but while it is soft on the outside, it is an itchy knit on the inside and I end up avoiding wearing it. The navy is also darker than shown here, so it's hard to make it work with either denim or trousers. I have a similarly shaped white shirt with grey birds by the same company that is soft outside and in that I love to wear.

I kept this top because the colors are nice and the pattern is unusual. I was debating whether I would keep it, because the large Dolman sleeve creates extra fabric under the pits, not especially flattering. It would have been helpful if the model had her arms partially extended outward, so shoppers could see this exaggerated cut. I hand sewed the sides in, which seemed as time consuming as returning it. Note that the back is solid gray, which is shown is the photos.
