I love this shoe for what it is. Its an old school shoe that does some things better than any modern sneaker and somethings less well. Pros: - Very breathable - High top ankle support - Nice thick rubber toe cap - Good foam footbed - Nice ground feel - Nice cushy tounge. you can lace it up tight without killing the top of your foot. - Stylish Cons - Canvas can discolor - Rubber soles are not nonslip and the pattern traps water underfoot, beware of wet tile - Narrow toe box. If you have an average size foot, you wont have a problem but it wont be roomy. - The sole is very flexible which can lead to some foot fatigue if you're running around all day. Conclusion If you like the style and can deal with the narrowness of the toe box, its a great shoe and I recommend it.

The tongue on this shoe is gigantic and puffy, unlike any other chuck taylor. was unable to get a refund for shipping, even though the photos don't represent this unique (and deal breaking) attribute of the product. False advertising.
