Quality Boots Defined
The smell of fresh leather is a predictor of the fit and feel of these boots. They start to conform to your foot upon first wear. This is my first experience with Frye. I have a bunion on one foot but no matter. These are as comfortable as can be, and the simple design will go with any outfit. A bit slippery on carpet, maybe due to the newness of the sole, but nice and quiet at work on hard surfaces like a good pair of boots should be. I expect to be wearing these for a long time.

Completely inaccurate advertising
Online photos of the black tooled color look gorgeous- brown in color with black accents. The pair I received is completely black, which makes the tooled detailing much less visible. I’ll be returning. I’m so disappointed. For the price this sort of discrepancy between what is advertised and the actual product is unacceptable and makes me lose confidence in the brand.

I like the simple clean
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the simple clean design, however they run small. I cannot wear thick socks with these and I ordered a half size up.

Sized up by 1/2 based
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sized up by 1/2 based on others feedback, glad I did. They are a classic style and plan on wearing them for years to come. The leather is a bit stiff, as expected and the comfort will grow with wear.

They're built for narrow feet,
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] They're built for narrow feet, but with some patience behind to break in perfectly around my wider feet. Perfect for trainsitional summer to fall dresses and skirt, and the perfect shaft width to slide right under jeans.

I've decided these are my
I've decided these are my forever boots. Absolutely in love. Easy to dress up, or down. They are comfortable, yet sturdy, and durable. Will order over and over again until they are discontinued.
The only reason this review is 4 stars and not 5: The threads on the sole of the boot (on the last 2 pairs I've purchased) started to unravel within the first time wearing them. I wasn't very happy about that considering the price. I figured it was more of a headache to report/exchange etc. so I didn't, but that should not be happening after one wear.
