Shoes are great, but Nordstrom's packaging SUCKS.
The shoes are great, but Nordstrom's packaging SUCKS. They decided not to ship my $200 Frye dress shoes in a shoebox like a normal person would, but, in the name of "sustainability," threw them loose inside a large shipping box and called it good. AND, they couldn't even be bothered to wrap them in two separate pieces of tissue paper, meaning the shoes were tossing and rolling around freely inside a SINGLE piece of tissue paper during transit. Which means that the heel of one shoe was free to gouge the nice, soft leather of the other shoe, so of course, it did.
Thankfully, it's not super noticeable, but it's obnoxious because it was totally preventable. Do better Nordstrom's. Anyway, buyer beware.
