Square Neck Stretch Velvet Minidress

If you’re in between sizes, I recco going one size up the larger size. I wear 8-10 and 12 fit like a glove. The neckline is super flattering, the cut under the bust line is at the smallest part of the waist. I have an apron belly and excess skin from weight loss and this skimmed over well. It hit just a couple of inches above the knees so does not have to be worn with pantyhose but will look best with that and black booties to appear slender and leggy. I don’t love the velvet fabric but the silhouette is classic and this makes for a great winter staple.

I grabbed this dress without much thought off the sale rack, and of the 8-10 dresses I tried on, it was a winner. I needed a nice dress for an anniversary outing. I’m pretty busty and usually wear L/XL sizes. It was very flattering and slimming despite not being tight. The dress is stretchy and very comfortable. I felt confident and ready for a fun night out.

I bought this dress for an upcoming NYC girls trip and it is a winner! Hits maybe 3 inches above my knee (5’2 for reference) and is the right amount of cling to my body. I usually wear a 0/2 in clothing and originally bought the 2 and exchange for the 4! The 4 fits perfectly. I’m excited to wear it! Definitely recommend.
