Merina Knee High Boot (Women)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My calves are somewhere in between regular and wide. Many regular calves are too tight for me and I would either have to go up a size or buy boots with stretchier shafts. The shaft on these boots are much wider than what I normally need; there’s a big gap at the opening. This could mean good news for those with wider calves than mine. Unfortunately I cannot test these boots at all because of the extremely poor sizing! I’m normally a 7.5 in boots, which is what I ordered. Not only are these way too narrow, they are also way too small by about a whole size! I tried to wear them to work and by the time I walked out of my apartment building, I couldn’t feel my feet anymore due to the tightness. The insoles are also not comfortably padded. The only way I would’ve been able to make these boots work would be to order 1-2 sizes bigger, but then the shafts would be too long and too wide. Very poor technical design.
