I love these jeans, but
They are tight in the waist. I normally wear either a 27 or 28. I went up to the 28, but they are snug in the hips and waist. Although I can zip them up, I just hate it feeling snug. I don’t think they have any give. Very straight leg jeans. Exactly what I am looking for. I am now ordering the size 29.
For reference, I am 5’7”, and weigh 138 pounds. The length is great.

Absolutely horrid fit.
I guess I should have paid better attention to the name of this style. These jeans will only fit people with very narrow hips in relation to their waist. Typically denim is manufactured with 10-10.5 inches between the waist measurement and the low hip measurement. So, a size 26 would have a 26” waist and a 36 or 36.5” low hip. But these are cut more narrow, only giving a 9” difference. So a size 26 has a 26” waist and a 35” hip. If you have any curvature to your body, in order to fit the hip you’ll have a huge gap in the waist. I have a straight up and down body (rectangular aka ruler) and even I could fit two fists into the waist band. A size down fits everywhere but the hips, which rub painfully. This style is supposed to fit snuggly to start and will stretch over time. But you can’t stretch beyond the leg seam.
The quality from Frame is lovely. And I adore the high waist style, which is actually high on me and I’m long waisted. I also appreciate the long inseam, which is still slightly too short on my 5’8” frame, but manageable with flat shoes.
If you’re very narrow in the hip and tall, these are the style for you. I’m returning.

These are perfect straight leg and the waist height is great. They’re not as stiff as Levi’s but not stretchy. If you’re in between sizes order up- comfortable but have a very clean cut.
