Double-Breasted Wool Peacoat

I read the reviews before purchasing and I could tell by looking at the coat that it ran smaller than a single breasted coat. I am a middle of the road size 8…I ordered a 12 and the coat fits perfectly. I’m not hung up sizing, I want a good fit. I ordered the navy and if the black becomes available, I will purchase it as well!

I'm 34C with 27" waist and 5' 1" tall, but the size 6 I ordered wouldn't allow me to even button up the coat because there was not enough material in the back. Despite that, the sleeves were of course too long but it could be hemmed. The overall length of the coat was good to my mid thigh. When I ordered a larger size, sz 8, it was only slightly bigger in width where I could barely button it up, but the length was way longer in body and sleeves and the pocket placement was low where it looked ridiculous on me as if it were made for a 5'8" person. I guess they designed the coat for only slim people and the larger sizes are for slim but taller people. Had to return it. Now hoping they will offer this same style in petite sizes. Overall the style and material were nice. For reference, I normally fit a sz 6 in theory suit jackets.

The listing for this item should disclose that this is Fleurette Studio, and not their regular luxury line. I thought I was getting a screaming deal, but no. It's a regular coat, not particularly soft or heavy. Lovely color (orchid) but I was expecting a different quality and was therefore let down. It's going back.

This is a beautiful high quality coat, 100% wool and fully lined. Warm, but breathable and comfy. I followed a reviewer's advice, and sized up two sizes, from 8 to 12 and it fits. I it has a slight Aline flair at the hips, which gives it a feminine shape. You can wear it with the lapels closed higher up, as on the model, or with lapels more opened up.

This is a beautiful wool coat with brilliant true color. I want 100% wool all winter long. It’s a superior fabric and a rare find lately.
