Ali Wool Peacoat

I was excited to get this coat but was sadly disappointed and will be returning. Petite sizing is way off (too big all over & much longer than it is on model). Coat is a medium navy, not dark navy as pictured. I was expecting wool quality similar to Cinzia Rocca or Max Mara but it felt much harder and cheaper.

Love Fleurette style and construction but I found this coat a little too warm and just a tad too short for my needs. Also did not care for the way I could not wear casually-it hangs in a closed position with under garments not showing at all. Pockets are well placed and interior is lined. Just not the casual coat I was looking for.

Material and construction: Wow, this Italian fabric is amazingly soft but holds the shape, beautifully constructed and traditional design with the twist on the pockets placement. Fit: Too long in the sleeves for I am 5'4 and 120lb, and slightly longer arms for a petite person. However, size 4 is too loose on me. I may need the size 2, but the dark Carmel color isn't complimenting to my skin tone.

Love the quality of the wool however it’s lighter than I expected. Sleeves are silly long so would be an added expense to alter. The body of the jacket is well made with a nice fit (4p). The buttons do not match the quality of the jacket thin plastic and there is not closure at the neckline. I’m uncertain I will keep this purchase.
