F-Mode Sneaker (Women)

These are high quality shoes and I really wanted to love them, but the shoebox is too shallow. This model is one of the few WIDE ones, so the size and width felt fine at first—but once I started wearing them, my toes felt cramped and the upper pressed on my bunions. This seems to be a consistent issue with FitFlop’s closed toe designs. The vertical space isn’t generous enough for a comfortable fit if you need a roomier forefoot. I’ve been buying FitFlops for 16 years and love the open toe models, but I’ve had to return most of the closed toe ones. I kept these hoping they would soften with wear—they didn’t. There’s just no room to stretch. I ended up cutting off the back and turning them into mules to wear around the house.

Super happy with open toe models, but had to return most of the closed toe ones. These were returned as well.
