Fit & Flatter Blazer

I’ve been looking for a longer black blazer that is affordable when I saw this GA blazer on Nordstrom Rack site. Ordered my normal size Large. Blazer was very wrinkled when received. Almost sent it back as it looked terrible. Once I thoroughly steamed it I decided to keep it. For the price it’s good. That being said this is not a high quality piece. It’s 100% polyester and wrinkles easily plus the seams look a little bunchy. The arms run large and loose versus more fitted. I may have the waist and arms taken in a little to make it look nicer. The bodice is well done and the collar is flattering with a deep v neck cut. The trend right now is oversized blazers which are not flattering unless you’re a super tall, thin model. I’m thankful Khloe is making blazers that fit and flatter. For the price you can’t go wrong with this one! Looks great with skinny jeans and sandals plus a graphic tee or black dress pants, blouse and booties. Add this great wardrobe basic to your closet and you won’t be disappointed! Just be prepared to steam it every time you wear it.

I’m usually a small / 4. Size 27 waist, 34C bra, 5’5”, 120 lbs. The small blazer was all around large. Sleeves are down to my knuckles, loose slightly poofy in the ribs / chest. Shoulders a bit too broad. It’s not horrible, but def looks like I borrowed someone else’s jacket. If oversized is what you want, it’s great. But for this style, more fitted would look better. Returning for an xs.

This blazer was surprisingly attractive, and looks expensive. Despite the fact that it’s made of polyester. The shape of the lines helps accentuate my hourglass figure even though I am plus size unfortunately, I think the sizing was a little bit off and it does not quite close given my backside, but one size up should probably have worked. As a petite person on the top, I would say you have to get the sleeves hemmed looking back at the photos I see that for some models the length was just right for others. It was a little long as well, but I guess it depends on what you’re going for overall, I’m pleased and wish the black was on sale to!
