Fish smell, quality has gone downhill
I bought this same style jacket with silver hardware (vs gold here) years ago and decided I wanted the gold hardware too. However this jacket smells like fish just like the other reviews mentioned, which I couldn’t get passed. The leather is stiffer with less movement/detail throughout the arms/body compared to older versions. I have bought several blank nyc leather jackets over the years and I’m very disappointed to see the quality go down on an amazing line. Please get your quality back up blank nyc!

The cutest leather jacket!!
Wasn’t sure how this jacket would turn out based on reviews I got the cognac color in a medium and loved it. It is more cropped (wont cover your booty) but hits above it sizing up and the arms would be too long. I think it fits perfect and I’m usually a medium / large in clothing sometimes I size up in outerwear but I don’t think that’s needed for this jacket. Can’t wait to wear it all fall!

very cute but it smells terrible
This jacket is really cute. It runs a bit small which has been mentioned and is expected with leather or faux leather jackets. However, the smell is awful! It literally smells like fish and I will be returning immediately. I can’t wear something that smells like this and I certainly don’t want it in my closet making all my other clothes stink as well. What a bummer because it’s really cute. I can’t speak to the tan version but skip the black if you are at all sensitive to smells. Yuck.
