not what I expected but I like it
I didn't watch the video before purchasing the dress, so I wasn't aware the entire top is open, with a top to bottom slit both front and back. The back one didn't bother me. But the front is a no go- but I stitched it all the way closed. I also removed the rosettes as they were heavy on such a like material, and I think it's much nicer without them. So this dress does require some alteration, but the 'after' is a winner.

very nice dress
I have many farm Rio dresses. This pattern is a bit different. I'm 5'7 136lbs I got a small in this dress usually I'm a medium. But it's very flowy on top. I will give the slit in front a stitch or 2 to close up a bit, that's easy. It's a keeper.
