'Slim Signature' Sleeveless Silk Shirt

As expected, this Equipment sleeveless silk shirt is lovely. The 'slim signature' fit is perfect in every way. Not too baggy, not too tight, arms fit well with no gaping, the fabric falls beautifully. Works nicely untucked with a linen sweater and black fitted pants for work and tucked into a pair of jeans for casual! I purchased a Sz. M as I find Equipment generous in their sizing and the fit is good for me and at 5' 7".

I buy a lot of Equipment tops. This is the first button front sleeveless I have purchased. I like it a lot. I do feel like the sizing is sort of off. I usually buy a medium in the button front slim fit. Since there were multiple reviews regarding this style running smaller I went up to a large. I’m glad I did because I think the medium would be too tight across the chest. I think it would be helpful for the manufacturer to share the measurement from under arm to under arm. I take a size large in the Layla tank, so I do think there is some inconsistency with sizing. The silk is high quality. It will wash well, as I have several tanks and button front shirts that’s wash well in the black. I use the Laundress delicate wash and hand wash these silk tops. To rough in the machine and I’m not a fan of dry cleaning . I drip dry and then use a hand steamer, not an iron. They look fresh and new each time.
