Great versatile dress
I am 5'11". The hem reaches slightly above my ankles so i can see how for more petite bodies or may be a bit long. The bottom portion is well lined and full. The top is stretchy and comfortable. Overall very comfortable.
The first day I wore this I got so many compliments. I simply styled it with a thin belt and slingback flats but it can be dressed up or down per the occasion. I purchased the teal which is a beautiful color and plan to get brown.

Not flattering
This dress looked really bad on me and was extremely uncomfortable in the waist. The skirt is so voluminous and long, while the elastic waist dug into my stomach. A size up would be too big everywhere but the waist. I suppose someone tall and willowy might be able to pull this off, but if you are 5'4" like me, don't bother. I ordered the xs, which is the size I most often wear.

Extremely short waisted
I read the reviews about this dress being short waisted and fitting strangely at the waist; however, I tried it anyway. Unfortunately, the reviews were correct. I am petite and very short waisted. It was too short at the waist even for me. It is a pretty fabric and color. The skirt is too voluminous and it looks very odd around the waist area.

weirdly short top
Love the full skirt but I’m usually a small/medium (size 6) and the small top was loose on me and weirdly short. Maybe if I got an extra small it would have fit but I haven’t been an extra small in 20 years.

This was all wrong for me. Beautiful colors: the brown and teal. However the fit was all wrong for me; pear shaped and 5'5. The waist hit in an awkward spot and the skirt had a serious balloon affect that added an excessive amount of volume where I do not need it. Also, the skirt fabric was more stiff and less flowing that I was expecting. I have other versions of the dress silhouette that are beautiful and flattering being fitted on top and flowy on bottom but this one was a miss for me.

This is not meant for someone who is 5"4"
The material is gorgeous. Loved it. I am 5'4" and 120 pounds. On the slim side. This dress made me look fat and frumpy. The waist is elastic, there is no zipper. I believe you have to be at least 5'10" to pull this look off with style. It would be stunning on someone that tall and slim.
