Elizabeth Floral Ruched Dress

Loved the dress! It’s very stretchy and flattering for a wedding or for a summer event. I’m 4”11 so the back of the dress is too long even in heels, so I had to carry the ends to not damage it while walking. That’s mainly the only issue I had, but getting it hemmed should be an easy fix.

I gave this a try because it’s not too pricey and I like the long cut. Fabric is drapey and has weight to it so it is not sheer nor thin and wrinkly. It is longer in the back and that drags on the ground slightly on me in bare feet but with a heel could be fine. I’d wear a heel anyway with this dress. I found it flattering. Floral pattern is nice as it camouflages things that a solid might not. Would warmth a shower or wedding or Mother’s Day brunch or even a birthday brunch or lunch type thing. I am 130 and 5’6.5”. Fabric is smooth. Alterations can hem the back so it doesn’t drag in ground.

I ordered the dress in the extra large as I am between sizes. I’m 5’6” and the dress dragged on the floor and was large in the armholes. I’m not sure if the dress was hanging in a store and stretched out (the fabric is a knit) or it just runs large. I’m going to reorder in a large and see how that fits . I do like the shape and it is extremely comfortable. Fingers crossed.

The dress was nice and long (I’m 5’10”), but I felt I was wearing a stretchy lap-swimming suit that clings to every bump when wet. Just not flattering on me.
