I love construction of this dress. When I took the bag out of the delivery box, it weighed a ton. The material is heavy and that what makes it sturdy and not flimsy. The color is beautiful and the shape of this dress is stunning. I ordered from Eliza J evening dresses before and her dresses ran small and I had to order one size up. Knowing that I ordered the large. For my surprise, the large was a little loose at the arm, chest and mud section areas. I'm in the process of losing weight and I wanted to wear the dress on thanksgiving day so I'll keep it and get it altered before then. I know you would say why don't you return and get smaller size but at 54 years old perimenopause with fluctuating weight I rather ask the alteration lady to make it tighter with out taking off from the excess just in case I need to get it loose😅.

This dress must weigh several pounds, it’s that heavy. It definitely smooths lumps and bumps as a result, but I can’t imagine an occasion I could wear this without suffering heat exhaustion. Beautiful blue. Dress runs small.
