Beautiful dress, slightly uncomfortable design
I love almost everything about this dress. It’s 100% cotton (yay for natural, breathable fibers), has a liner and is not opaque, and the white/blue color design is fresh and summery. The smocked bodice is comfortable and the straps are wide enough to cover bra straps. It fits true to size. The ruffles at the top of the dress are a cute touch; however, they extend high into the underarm region and irritate my skin whenever I raise and lower my arms. So close to perfection, but not quite there for me.

smocked plaid day dress !
Love this beautiful day dress. It’s perfect in every way except the smocking bends over somewhat at the top. But other than that I love it! It’s light, airy and has pockets. I went down to my normal size 8 -I usually have to go up in Eliza J dresses. I wore it to a shower and felt girlie, pretty and shapely. A must buy !
