Side Ruched Tank

This top is lightweight, true to size and has a bit of ruching on the sides to help shape the top. Overall, pretty nice. My title refers to the shape and fit of the shoulders and neckline. I think of a tank as having a scoop neck and semi- to wide shoulder straps. With the high neckline and no cut to the shoulders, this, to me, is a shell top. But that's just semantics. For me, the fit is pretty good except for under the arms. I don't know why the design has the bottom of the armholes curved out, away from the body. Maybe it's just my shape, but I often have a fit problem with a gap at the bottom edge of the armholes. Another nice top that I'll need to alter in order to avoid a big gap. Not difficult, but really a nuisance.
