Wool Motorcycle Jacket

I really wanted to like this jacket! Unfortunately, though the cut and style are attractive, and the details like the exposed seams are on trend, the quality of this jacket in comparison with its price (even at the Rack) or a disappointing mismatch. The tag on the garment describes it as lightly boiled wool. I love boiled wool, and this is a very bad version of it. The jacket almost seems like it was peeling right out of the package. It is unlined, which also helps it feel a little less special. If the quality of the fabric were better, I might consider keeping it at a lower price point, but in the end, I don't think I would love it. I think I just wanted to love it.

I loved the ochre color and minimalist design but didn't fit me well enough, perhaps 2-3 inches too short for my 5ft 6in height. I thought it would make a good sweater alternative. It looked limp on me and not as good as it looked in photos on the model. I think it need a lining with shoulder pads to give it structure. This fabric wasn't hefty enough to hold up on its own in my opinion,
