Stand Collar Reversible Wool & Cashmere Coat

I like Eileen Fisher a lot but the workmanship on the coat I received was poor and I returned it. The back of the snap buttons are not attractive (the coat is a reversible design) and when the top button on the collar was open one side of the collar flopped and the back of the button was showing. I could not get my collar to fall like the model photo when open. The coat arrived creased from shipping. When the bottom buttons were closed, their placement appeared slightly off as the fabric would not hang straight. I could not get the fabric to lie correctly even when I laid the coat on a table, you could see a slight bowing in the line of the buttons. Those snap buttons have strong closure and I was concerned that over time they would cause the fabric around them to stretch if I wasn’t careful to push exactly between the two sides of the buttons to get them to release. The fabric was soft and an acceptable weight but it looked almost like felt. My normal size in Eileen Fisher is typically XS. I purchased this coat online and decided on size small so I would have room for a medium weight sweater but there was still room to spare, I could have comfortably gone with XS.
