Fantastic, understated dress
I removed the sleeves so I can easily wear a jacket or cardigan over this dress -- it is the ideal travel companion, does not wrinkle, is super comfortable, can be hand washed and hung to dry in a few hours, does not show dirt, etc. I normally wear EF XL and the L was perfect in this dress.

Stunningly Simple Dress
I purchased this Eileen Fisher dress at the store by accident. The dress was left in the fitting room. I would not have picked out. I asked for a smaller size and put it on. Not kidding, magic. The dress is very flattering and classic. The crinkle fabric will not show wrinkles, so it will work for traveling. The side slits and the pleat in black are classic. The fit is phenomenal. I wear a 12-to 14 and purchased the large and it fits as if it was made for me. I will wear this casual with friends and it could also work at work or an evening out. The is a must have dress. A little more than I would spend, but well worth the price. Unfortunately not on the Anniversary Sale.

Great dress, runs large
It's a great dress! I usually size down one size in Eileen but could go down two sizes in this dress. Nice shape, weight, drape, etc. Unfortunately, I can't figure out quite what niche of my life this dress would fit into often enough to justify the purchase.
