Crewneck Cardigan

True to size and decent cut and drape of fabric. I wanted to keep it, but every time I put it on, I just couldn’t bring myself to wear it…it’s just so not up to par with the price. The fabric also does shed, as a previous reviewer mentioned. For $300 I was truly disappointed with the quality of the fabric and the thinness of the sweater. It just does not meet the old high-quality standards of Eileen Fisher. I am frankly frustrated in the brand’s pull away from quality fabrics and styling… They seem to be leaning much more into quantity and how to make things cheaper yet still charge insanely high prices. I would be willing to pay more money (even after inflation costs) for an item I thought was worth it. This was not it.
