Sculpted LX Bootie (Women)

When I read reviews that indicated these were running small I immediately hopped on the buy bandwagon. I wear sz 8 in sandals and 8 1/2 in closed toe shoes. My feet run a little narrow so medium are frequently too big for me. Conversely narrow can be too snug. Top has comfortable room as indicated in the photo. The only issue is the footbed could use more padding for the ball of the foot. I plan to have more cushion placed. The toe box is surprisingly roomy. Right now I have thin socks on but know I can wear a slightly thicker socks. These boots are attractive and I like them.

Echo makes some gorgeous, good quality shoes. Unfortunately, the sizing is off by at least 1/2 size even when compared with European brands. If you're a smaller size, then you can size up. But for us larger feet ladies who wear a size 11, we are out of options. Ecco's size 11 should be a 42 European, but Ecco's 11 is actually a 41 or sometimes 41.5. I wish they could sort this out with their supplier or producer.

It's not always easy to find a comfortable shoe or bootie. Ecco nailed it with this design and style that is a timeless classic with comfort that feels as if it is custom made. About sizing: I normally wear a 7.5 - 8, however in this bootie which includes two halves in its' sizing (e.g. 7.5 - 8 for one size), I found that the boot ran larger when I tried on the boot that was "7.5 - 8". Since they were sold out of the "7 - 7.5" in store, I ordered them online. When they arrived they were perfect (I ordered both a brown and black pair). About width: This boot is on the narrower side in width, so if you have a normal foot, but your foot runs marginally wide, I would not order this boot, it will be too narrow for you. I have a medium foot, but have also worn narrows and this boot fits perfect. Definitely a beautiful style that will last a lifetime. Also, there is enough room around the ankle where you can wear pants or leggings tucked in. When not tucking in, the gap is a normal gap around the ankle (not too much gap...really, it's the perfect bootie).
