Ouch! Poor quality control.
Yes, they're cute, but NO! I posted a picture of one boot's interior with a knife-like edge which cut into my ankle. You can see the shadow below the sharp edge. The other boot didn't have a protrusion. These are going back.

Beautiful
These are my favorite pair of high boots I’ve owned. The calf width fits my leg perfectly and its snug fit makes my foot feel secure. The heel is very manageable and I have not slipped once since buying them!
