The cleaner is ok. But the endless emails from Dyson even after I unsubscribed from them are extremely annoying. These companies and their marketing geniuses don’t understand that they are losing all goodwill towards their products.

The good, the bad and the ugly.
The Good
The device cleans well. It doesn't include a dryer, so you have to leave it out to air-dry. The 2 rollers spinning in opposite directions are doing a great job at cleaning, so they achieve their mission of leaving your floors clean. The water tank is not big enough, and it's the largest water tank among all Dyson washers at 1 Liter. It's enough for 4 rooms at speed 1, but at speeds 2-3, it drains faster. Speed 4 is like a waterfall for hard spots and can drain the entire tank after a few minutes :O It's a beautiful workhorse.
The Bad
After 3 weeks of regular mopping, the unit displayed a "Rollers Stuck" error even without the roller head unit. Once I turned it on one of the rollers (with no brushes remind you) didn't spin at all, while the other rotated for 3 seconds and stopped as well with "Rollers Stuck" error. The Internet showed that other customers had the same issues, with engine modules replaced, and I sent mine to Dyson to be fixed.
The Ugly
Once debris gets in its way, like leaves or big pieces of dirt or cereal, it gets stuck really fast. The dirt bin is shallow so it gets stuck and you ahve to take it out and clean. You MUST vacuum the floors before using the Wash G1.

Got it on a big discount but even that doesn’t seem to be worth the costs. Doesn’t seem to clean that well & takes quite a bit to clean the machine. Not exactly what I was expecting comparing the experience with the other Dyson products over the years.

I bought this because of Dyson's reputation. Unfortunately using it the first time was the last. I was very frustrated with emptying the water & tray. It did not easily work like I was hoping. I have returned this item.

It’s a yes
Surprisingly nice you get a little worried about the just water only but it actually works so I think it’s worth it. You can get the Dyson stuff to put in there but overall better than a broom and a mop.
