Peak Lapel Velvet Blazer

PERFECT! I needed purple for a women’s conference I was speaking at and wanted something that would be different from my normal choice. This jacket was IT. I paired it with a black leather skirt and lavender top for a classy look. LOVE this new addition to my wardrobe- will pair it with some jeans and faux leather pants.

Just received and it's a nice blazer, but definitely not as structured as I would have liked. Very soft material - it behaves more like a cardigan. I had hoped for a stronger line in the shoulder and firmer collar for a true blazer feel. Instead it is soft like a crushed velvet dress. I'm able to button without pulling at the bust, and the color navy is very flattering. The pockets are usable, but stitched tightly so I questioned if they were meant to be opened for a moment. Overall I'm happy with my purchase and would consider getting another in a different color.

I bought this jacket to wear over a sweater and collared shirt. I was nervous the jacket would be too thick and stiff. To my surprise this jacket is not a typical suit jacket, but rather a light weight piece that is perfect for layering, there is also a slight stretch. I would describe this as a velvet cardigan that has the look of a fitted jacket. The jacket looks just like it does on the model and on the reviewer that posted her picture with the purple jacket.
