Anistone Lo Boot (Women)

I did try these on before I purchased, so I am a little surprised that this happened to me. The shoes are very stiff, so much so that I could not fit my foot into the opening of the boot. Rather than fool with stretching the boot. I returned them. If I would buy these again I would size up rather than down.

I am a HUGE Dr. Martens fan, back to the days when I wore them in law enforcement a lifetime ago. However, these boots have two major problems... 1. these run small (I always wear size 37, which equates to a size 6 in these and my toes were hitting the front which makes them uncomfortable) & 2. without a zipper, I about killed myself trying to get into them. Docs are always a little stiff to begin with, and I have relatively thin ankles, but getting in these is way too hard. *SNIFF* These were soooo close to being perfect, but back they go.

Sis in law had these and I really liked them so decided to order once they went on sale. I’m normally 7.5 and I got a 7. They are very stiff in the toes. I have a slightly wide foot and feel they may squeeze my toes too much if I wear thick socks, however, the heel is quite large and I need to wear thick socks to keep from slipping out of it. So kind of a dilemma! It’s weird that the heel is so big in comparison to toe box. Well made otherwise, no cushion or arch support
