Eau de Toilette

It’s the original! As someone else mentioned, a hard find. For those of you who remember the original version of this fragrance, it was simply lovely. A nice clean top note, a subtle middle of warm amber and vanilla, finished off with a sensual, alluring dark mix of patchouli and musk. I normally loathe patchouli, but this is blended with such a light touch that it warms up the overall finish, yet is barely detectable as such. This is my all time favorite fragrance and one of two signature scents I wear. If you’re shopping for someone, this isn’t a fragrance for one who enjoys fruity, bright scents. This is for someone who prefers scents like bourbon, warm vanilla, tobacco, and sandalwood. It’s definitely a warm fragrance, so I usually wear this in winter as it reminds me of nights cozied up by the fire. They changed the formula roughly 15 years ago to add a note that was almost…citrusy? I’m not quite sure how to explain it, but completely ruined the scent. I am so thrilled to have found it the original formula!! (Yes, I bought two and am going to hope they’ll continue carrying it, as I will wear this until the day I die.)
