Love them, but so bummed about the weird fit
This brand has exactly my style of denim — modern cuts, wide, interesting tasteful details, colors, patterns, and seams. It's exactly what I'm looking for. But I'm hugely disappointed in the fit around the hips and waist. I ordered my usual size (2/26) and it was super unflattering with the mid-rise cut. I have slightly wider hips and narrower waist (I have a very mild hourglass body type) and these just hit at the wrong spot – the waist is cinched in, but way too low so it creates a strange crotch bubble of extra fabric and makes my waist look really wide. Might try ordering a size up and see if I can get these tailored because I like the style a lot, but I just really wish these had a higher waist or accommodated a curvier body type. I tried another pair from this brand and it had the exact same issue sadly. I'm 5'6" for reference.
