Clancy Lace & Eyelet Long Sleeve Organic Cotton Minidress

beautiful color and detailing on this dress! the first time i wore this, i was walking in town and a girl literally slowed her car down to yell out the window "i love your outfit!" <3 it took a couple of tries to get the right size though. I am 160cm with narrow shoulders and wider hips. based on how the dress interacts with my build, i had to size down two whole sizes from the size chart's prediction lol. I think this is because having a proper sleeve length a good fit at the neckline is key for the oversized silhouette to read as intentional and not sloppy. According to the size chart, I should order a 10US, but i ended up with a 6US. I wonder if this might fit truer to size on taller gals??? But, wanted to write a review to advise my fellow petites to size down and save some headaches!

This is my favorite red. I wish I had purchased every piece that damson madder made in this color. The dress is super flattering somehow even though every single part of it shouldn’t be. The draw string is sort of a pain to do up but it’s so worth it because you can adjust it to fall nicely. I think the quality of this whole brand is lacking, and this dress is no exception, but I love it so much that I’m giving five stars anyway!
