Stanza Portable Bluetooth^® Speaker

I bought two of these to use with my iPads. I expected them to be similar to the 20 year old speakers they replaced. They are much better. The sound is well balanced. The bass is solid and pronounced, tweeter handles highs with ease, midrange is subdued so the midrange is not muddy in music but enhances human voices. The grill cover is sturdy and does not feel cheap or flimsy. The wood cabinet is a handsome piece of furniture with chrome legs. Set up is a breeze!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First off, you will need to charge this speaker before you use it, it can take several hours to fully charge, so keep that in mind. Once charged it’ll last for about 8 hours. I love the the mid century look of the speaker. The walnut veneer is beautiful and looks high end. I was amazed at how well the sound comes out of this speaker, don’t let the small size foul you. The size makes it extremely easy to move wherever you go. I’m most impressed with the Bluetooth connection. I was playing music from my phone to the speaker, and was able to walk 80 feet away from the speaker with my phone, and the speaker still played beautifully. I even tried going into another room, as well as downstairs and 50 feet away from the speaker that was upstairs, and the speaker sound was still amazing and clear! Highly recommend!
