Scratchy and toxic coating
This is not 100% cotton. The terry cloth is laminated with polyurethane and is scratchy and hard.

Thank you for your review. We do want to correct one thing clearly for anyone reading this. There is nothing “toxic” about this product. This pillow cover uses a polyurethane waterproof membrane, which is a standard, widely used barrier material in bedding specifically to block liquids. That is what makes it waterproof.
The terry surface is cotton, and the waterproof layer is disclosed in the product details. Any pillow protector that is truly waterproof will include a barrier like this, and it is meant to be used underneath a pillowcase for comfort.
If you are looking for a cover that feels like plain cotton with no protective layer, then a waterproof protector simply will not be the right product.

Poor Quality,
Poor quality, terry cloth should be ulta soft, this is terribly scratchy and irritable, would not recommend.

Easy to clean
These are so soft and perfect to clean. You don’t have to worry about washing them a certain way they don’t stain or fall apart. You just throw them in the washer and dryer and they are so well made you can do that so many times without any worry. These are great quality I am very happy with my purchase.
