The pockets are not “Faux”, they are sewn like any expensive blazer and to be opened after purchase. It does run slightly large, but not enough room for those with a bigger chest( I’m a 36D). There was too big of a gap although it did button. if I sized up it would be too big so I am Returning.

Beautiful jacket…what a disappointment
I thought I’d finally found the perfect all around blazer for me to pair with jeans, Ponte pants, casual dresses. Had a similar Ralph Lauren blazer years ago that took me through 14 days of Italy in one carryon.
This was my one “find” from this years Anniversary Sale.
It arrived today and it’s going back tomorrow.
I take a size 12 in all my clothes, but always size up for jackets and coats.
Ordered the Misses 14. The shoulders fit perfectly.
The material is just right for an Atlanta winter. Not too heavy, with a nice tweedy herringbone pattern. Looked terrific with my coloring.
However, the sleeves were almost two inches too long, and I needed another four inches in the jacket body for it to even come close to closing.
Makes me wonder who RL used as a pattern maker on this one.
For the record, I am 5’9”, a toned 170lbs, with a 38D chest.

Great Lightweight Fall Blazer
When I opened the package I was surprised by how lightweight this blazer is for a fall garment. But as I tried it on I went back in my mind to last fall, and how most of my fall clothes were too heavy or warm to wear in Virginia until close to December. This blazer has the right look, but is over 70% cotton and linen. I can tell it may wrinkle a bit more than a wool blazer, but the full lining will help it hang well and survive multiple wearings. Plus I can pair it with many skirts or trousers in a variety of fabrics and colors. If I had a wish it would be that these manufacturers would bring back tropical weight wool for blazers. Then fewer wrinkles and a longer garment life. Still, I will get a lot of wear from this, and can start wearing it by September. So I'll be able to get an entire season out of it.
One thing to note, this blazer fits close to the body and the arms are just right for a silk blouse, tank, tee, or any other lightweight top. Maybe a featherweight cashmere sweater, but nothing heavier. For size reference, I am about 5'.45", 140 lbs., wear a 36B bra and purchased a size 8. This is a perfect fit on me, but if you are large busted, or have a more generous derriere, you may need to adjust your sizing.
