Capa Water Resistant Insulated Hooded Jacket

I’ve been on the hunt for a lighter insulated jacket for shoulder seasons and have finally found it! I would say I’m between and small and medium, but lean towards mediums mostly because of my athletic build and broad shoulders. I bought the medium in this jacket and its perfectly loose enough to layer over a sweater, but not to much that I’m swimming in it. I’ve worn it on a few hikes in early New England Spring when the weather was unpredictable, raw, and breezy, and it seemed to block the wind well and keep me snug. So happy with this purchase. I already know I’ll be reaching for it regularly.

I want to love this jacket - the fit is great, it travels well and is just the right amount of warm. But it sheds feathers like none other. I took it in for an “in-store repair” and they pulled out black stick-on patches. If you can get it on sale, do it. But I would not pay full price for a jacket that can’t withstand usual wear without a breakdown like this.
