Worked well in Iceland!
I bought these boots in January 2026 for a trip to Iceland in March 2026. I wanted something to stay warm and dry, that had good traction and these boots delivered. I wore them every day in a variety of conditions either with merino wool socks, or sometimes athletic socks. I trekked through water, slush and mud to a depth of about 2 inches, and on icy, inclined surfaces without crampons and no handrails. I stayed dry and warm and never slipped or fell. I wear size 12 and was concerned about a poor fit, but they were comfortable and I didn't get blisters or sore feet.

Problem with grip and warmth
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So sad to be writing this as I bought these shoes with great hopes that I will finally have the right winter footwear. Unfortunately, I'm having trouble with them, as my feet get really cold, and the soles are not as grippy as I would have liked, so my feet slip on icy surfaces. They are otherwise very comfortable, and feel good on my feet.

Blizzard-Proof and Comfy
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Shockingly lightweight, excellent arch support, and very durable! I sized up half a size, and the fit was exactly right. I walked through heavy snow and on top of slippery ice throughout Maine and Massachusetts in the middle of February, and my feet were never cold! Even during the massive historic blizzard that hit the East Coast, I was always warm and dry! Paired with wool socks, these are perfect! HIGHLY recommend!

Great warm boots!
These boots are not only comfortable but warm enough for zone 6b winter. I usually wear a size 7 but i ordered a half size up for thick socks and they fit great!

Great boots!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had these boots for a couple Minnesota winters that include twice daily dog walks, and they are great! Warm, comfortable, good traction. Because they look like a duck boot, I was skeptical about the warmth, but not at all disappointed. I highly recommend!
