Perfect Chunky Combat boot w/some Caveats
These are fabulous: waterproof, just enough heel, perfect shaft height to wear with any inseam length / pant type & just chunky enough & not heavy. HOWEVER: Side zipper would have been ideal, a chore to get on/off. Laces way too thick for eyelets so I changed. Also, they run big. Am a solid 8, cross brand, & had to do 7.5 in these (& still have some room). The look, feel & durability of these boots are so great though that they outweigh the shortcomings so still 5 stars.

Chonky and uncomfortable
Not as nice in-person. They look like hiking shoes. The toe box is narrow. The laces are tight and you need to build in 5 min to get the shoe on. Feels like 2 bricks are tied to my feet. I wish I could return them.

Nice but roomy
These boots are so nice and comfortable, but I'm returning for a smaller size. I'm normally a size 6.5M and have narrow feet, but these were a bit roomy even with socks so I'm going to return and get size 6 instead.

Just ok
These boots don’t look as good in person. The color is a bit dull and the strings look weird. I’m going to change to black strings to see if that helps. The boot are also a bit narrow. I wore them to work and by the end of the day, both of my small toes were hurting.
