Hunting Jacket

It is thick enough to provide solid warmth and has many pockets for storing things or to slip your hands in. The material is durable. To me this is more of a chore coat than a fashion statement as it’s a little bulky

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So this isn’t a waxed jacket. It has a fabric that feels like waxed canvas, but it isn’t. While I knocked a star off my review for that reason alone, the fact it isn’t waxed fabric will cut down on maintenance. True waxed jackets need to be recoated with wax and oil every couple of seasons. The jacket fits me well. The XL fits a bit big, but considering this is an overcoat, it would allow for winter layering. A great option to have in your car as it wasn’t too bulky. I was really starting to like this jacket and then it got left somewhere. Don’t know where I left it, but I blame Colorado for its wild temperature swings for the loss of this jacket. A big bummer, as I was really enjoying it. You’ll enjoy owning one of these jackets too. It’s comfortable, looks good, and appeared to be fairly durable. The price for what you get isn’t bad either.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The jacket fits me really nice. I’m 5’11 and slim build, this jacket in size medium fits me nice and comfortable. I can wear a thick sweater underneath for colder days. It has lining inside, very good quality and feels sturdy to me. The color is great and easy to wear with jeans or pants.

But I did order a size too big, so now I have room for extra layers or extra burgers. The only downside is the price-it’s definitely not cheap. Still. Good quality!

It is billed as a rain jacket because it has a somewhat waxy finish, however it is also super thick and keeps you very warm. I wore it while we were in Denver and it was absolutely perfect for the 40 degree weather and I felt super comfortable. I like that it has both a zipper and clasps to keep you super secure. The other thing that I really liked was that there are multiple pockets for both carrying items as well as keeping your hands warm. Overall, this jacket is very well made, looks super sharp, and protects you from both the rain and cool.
