Not flattering on short body
There are things I like about this dress - like how the top & waist is rrallynfitted and snatches you in. I wouldn't need to wear a bra with this, tho it does smoosh you in a bit. The waist hits higher in me as I'm long waisted but the A line flow is really nice. But here is where it goes very wrong for me - the amount of fabric and the size of the skirt width is just way too much, way too much volume, so much that it's overwhelming. On my 5'2 frame it's more of a maxi and with all of the skirt material this dress just becomes too much. I do also want to point out that I am not a typical plus size girl, depending on the brand I usually wear a 12 or sometimes a 14 - with a small D cup and an hourglass figure - and the smallest size in this dress was a perfect glove fit for me, so I would say it probably runs small. except for the skirt, that was definitely a lot of fabric.
