Fabric Defect
I am SO sad about this defect as I absolutely loved these pants. Just as another person says in a review, after washing by direction without using bleach, they came out with bleach looking marks near the pockets.
If that doesn’t deter you, go down 2 sizes. I’m a size 29 in citizen and 30 in Levi’s (for reference) and I was 27 in these - they stretch out in the waste A LOT, make sure they fit tight in the waste before quit cut the tags!

I originally went a size up but exchanged for my regular size as they are a bit looser. Luxurious fabric, fun fit, cute in the back with the packets. Got them in two different washes. Excited to wear them throughout each season.

Washer Beware
Beautiful pants, fit is a little large.
Washer beware: something is up with the dye of these pants because I washed according to the directions, no bleach whatsoever, and gasped when I took them out and saw two areas at the pockets where the dye faded away! Thankfully, Lee in Nordstrom Customer Service says I can return these - clearly a brand defect! I had read something similar on a different site about the black wash fading dramatically after washing, but obviously, it applies to Tea Leaf too. It's not an even fade either, it's blotchy. :(
