nice shoe, strange delivery methods

I bought two pairs of this shoe in a 9.5 and a 9. The larger pair came shipped in a nice outer box, and the shoes were in a shoe box, complete with tissue and shoe fillers. The smaller pair was shoved into shoe bag, with no stuffing or box, and was shipped in a plastic bag?! Not what I would expect from Nordstrom.
