flattering and pretty!
I tried the black on in store and ordered the burgundy. Both are very pretty in person. The shimmer shown in the video isn’t very realistic though.
If you haven’t worn a sequin dress before, it will cause irritation on the arms from the contact. Otherwise, the dress is very comfortable.
The tie straps do not create the perfect fit as the video suggests. The straps are a set length, and the bow tie is sewn on.

shoulder ties are not adjustable!
I had to go back and look at the video again to make sure that I didn’t misunderstand but for other shoppers I’m letting you know that you cannot untie and re-tie the bows on the shoulders to get “your perfect fit”. The ribbons are sewn together and all you can do is re-tie the bow the same way but not make it tighter or looser. Shoulder straps are always too long for me and the main reason I bought this was so I could adjust the ties. I don’t have a Nordstrom where I live so I can’t take it in for alterations, sending it back
