Not Burgundy!
Sadly the color is closer to an orchid purple. Not what I wanted or what is shown in the photo. Fabric is much cheaper looking than the hunter green one I bought a few years ago.

Pretty but not right for me
This dress is pretty but didn't fit me well. I chose the size to fit my bust because the dress was said to have quite a bit of stretch to the fabric, which is accurate. The fit was OK but too body con over my hips for my comfort. The gather at cap of the sleeve was also more than I liked - too poofy. On the upside, the button detail and rouching are lovely. The side zipper is well designed and easy to use. The neckline isn't too deep and the slit isn't too high. Nice velvet for the price. A lovely dress just not for me. I'll be returning it.

Nice on the torso but sleeves were unflattering.
I have long thinnish arms and the puffed sleeves were awkward-looking around the shoulders and too wide at my elbows. The dress fit well throughout the torso and was flattering in that area. The fabric is a little on the cheap side, but for this price, that is to be expected these days.
