14K Yellow Gold Balloon Puppy Necklace

This necklace is absolutely darling! I took the chance despite the other negative review (said it was too small and too fragile of a chain) and am so glad I did! For $154 this is a fantastic little gold necklace. The balloon dog is so cute and unique! It has a perfect amount of weight and feels like a solid gold piece (not hollow). The chain is dainty and the links are very small, but the charm sits well and hangs perfectly. I leave my gold necklaces on for EVERYTHING and I trust this will be a great piece for a long time. I may upgrade the chain to something more substantial - but this is a must buy for the price and quality of the charm! For the price it has a nice shine to the gold and doesn’t look cheap. The only negative is the tiny clasp to close the chain. However, if you have fingernails and intend to sleep, shower, workout (I run-would not do high impact workouts with this on) and never take it off - I feel it won’t break or be easily damaged. For me, this really seems to be a perfect compliment for the price point. Perhaps the other reviewer is not versed in high end gold and the price for what you get. I have other much more expensive pieces that I hesitate for daily wear after losing a very expensive chain… and with this, I’m not breaking the bank for a very good quality gold charm that is whimsical. It is small, be prepared - but I prefer an understated simple chain and charm that won’t rub while I sleep, etc. Awesome piece! Easily 5 stars for the charm! Probably 3 for the chain, but pairs well as it is so small and dainty.
