Shoes true to size. The cushion is a bit less than what I was excepting. More cushion in the heel which is good for heel sticking runners, which I am not. I will use these in rotation. Mostly for speed word.

Brooks Hyperion Max
Thr Hyperion Max is very lightweight and is fast. It has a rocker in front that springs you foward. I believe it has a 5mm stack height that you can fell the ground beneath you. It is well cushioned. The cushion is not squishy nor soft. The Brooks Hyperion Max is a great shoe. Specifically, for your tempo and threshold runs.

The Hyperion Max shoes are comfortable, offering a smooth and enjoyable ride. Compared to their successor, the Hyperion Max 2, I’ve noticed they don’t provide as much assistance with quick turnover or speed.
