Great buy
These shoes are exactly what I had been on the hunt for. I was in need of two things out of the next tennis shoe I bought, comfort and waterproof. These shoes are just that. I would recommend them to anyone looking for something similar.

Sadly, this version is too stiff to wear.
I have never done a review in 20 years. But I have to tell you I brought these on a trip to Chicago out of the box and within a few hours my feet are numb. They are so stiff, no matter how different many ways I laced them, I could not get them to loosen up. I’ve had the same Cascadia through at least 10 versions. I will be returning these and using my Cascadia 13

Slippery when wet
Given that these are water-resistant, I would have expected better performance on wet surfaces like the fog-drenched granite of Acadia National Park. So use caution in rocky areas on a rainy day.
No problems on dry days and I can wear them all day long and they are still comfortable.

Good trail shoes.
Fit great, good traction. Just wore out this same shoe and replaced it. Only reason it isn't a 5 star is because my last pair was not waterproof and that is what I wanted but only found them as waterproof this time. The waterproof material makes them just a tad stiffer and hotter than the last pair.

Overall good shoe
So far I really like these shoes. Seem to be very durable with good grip and fit. True to fit for my regular Brooke size. My only negative is the laces. They will not stayed tied no matter how many different types of tying I try. I am swapping them out for lock tie laces.
