First off, These shoes are extremely comfortable! They run a bit large and have a rather wide forefoot, similar to Altra running shoes, so they look a bit clunky on foot. But despite them feeling large on foot, they somehow keep my foot it place and offer great stability on uneven/rugged terrain. They are kind of a hybrid of a light hiking boot, a running shoe, and an athleisure fashion shoe. For me they are too heavy/stiff for running, but perfect for hiking. They offer a lot of support, the vibram outsole gives excellent grip and a solid, protective base, and they are all day comfortable. The midsole material offers a lot of cushioning, but isn’t so overly soft that it feels too squishy underfoot. If these fit your foot, I say they rival some of the big outdoor companies as a light hiking shoe or rugged trail runner. The upper is very minimal but functions well, and overall the shoes feel lighter, both in hand and on foot, than you’d expect… the materials all seem high quality and lightweight. They are protective underfoot and almost feel like they for a rigid basin under your foot, but at the same time are kind of soft and allow for natural foot motion… they did a really good job of balancing those two factors that sometime come of the sacrifice of the other. I’ve been using them for playing disc golf, and i find them ideal for that.

First of all it has Vibram bottoms which means you can definitely walk/hike in them (rain/shine). Second, they are built like a running shoe with minimal padding in the heel and the upper is partly see through so if you want to match socks to make this more like a streetwear shoe you can. Third, I took my dog out on a 6 mile walk/run yesterday (I weigh 220 lbs) and I feel no soreness.
