Looks too different in person
When I opened the box I was surprised that it did not look like real sued. It had a fake "fuzziness" about it. Turns out the the suede is actually "suede and fabric" Whatever that is. It looks very cheap. I have an older version of a very similar boot that born made and no longer do. It looks almost identical except for the bottom and the much cheaper "sueded look". Almost like sprayed on dust. Maybe the tan color will look better but I will stay away from the new Born.

not what they used to be
I’ve owned Børn shoes in the past and still do. This pair and others I looked at are nothing like my former and present ones. Not supple or robust, the new generation of Børn is plastic, inflexible, chintzy, uncomfortable. Returned this pair. Bye, Børn.

One of my best boots ever purchased
This has got to be one of the best boots I have ever purchased. The comfort level is like wearing a slipper. Nice worn look that goes great with jeans or any casual pants. Well made and easy to pull on and off. I purchased a second pair in dark brown as I know I will wear these often.
