Arie Platform Wedge Sandal (Women)

Shoe doesn't come in half sizes and it says online to size DOWN if you need a half size... I couldn't figure out why these seemed a bit small until I realized that the shoe is a true size 8 and definitely - if you're a true 8.5 like me (medium & sometimes narrow width) -- that you need to SIZE UP to a 9 for a good fit with these. Almost every shoe I own is a size 8 or 8.5 (two size 9's -- but mostly because they're boots & I can wear thick socks). I found another brand & style which works instead for my needs with the look of this shoe (since I didn't want to have to go through the hassle of an exchange) but I'm disappointed that the online tips which indicate to size DOWN. With the way this heel is angled in (usually a nice look - IF the foot bed of the shoe really fits) it seemed a lot smaller than it needed to be. The footbed is size 8. I would add that IF the footbed had been the right length, the heel height and cushion of the footbed seemed comfortable.

These wedges were true to size. So nice and cushy and comfortable. I walked the Woodward Dream Cruze, over 4 miles, and they never bothered me and it was 88*F out. They look great and feel great to boot. What’s not to love. I have the light neutral color so that they blend in and don’t look heavy or clunky. These are one of my main go to shoes for the summer !
