Alaina Platform Wedge Sandal (Women)

As a wedding photographer, I have to spend long hours on my feet photographing weddings, but I still want to wear shoes that are at least semi-dressy and appropriate for upscale occasions. It feels nearly impossible to find a pair of dress sandals that I can walk comfortably in all day without any pain or rubbing. These have that deep pillow cushioning that I long for, and the leather is soft so the straps don't rub my feet and cause blisters. I think I am a true 9 or 9.5, but I often buy a size 10 to accommodate my wider feet. The size 10 feet my wide feet perfectly without feeling like I was slipping around in them. I already bought a second pair in tan, I want to get the white pair next!

I bought these shoes at the store without trying them on as it was about to close. I have pretty much given up on any issues with a hill even the short tiny grandma comfort heels as my friend calls them. I wear foamy slides almost every day for foot and back comfort. I had to go out of town for work and was trying to throw together some some dressy outfits and pick these up not knowing what they would feel like I put them on the first day and was shocked that my foot didn’t seem to hurt right away, which usually happens in anything other than comfort slide. I was able to walk in them and not even just a couple of feet I wore them for two days straight with some walking, not a lot and very minimal discomfort basically after two days of wearing them straight one of my feet hurt a little bit And I did wake up with a leg cramp the next day but again I’m used to wearing flat shoes for the last several years, so I think it was muscle exhaustion these were more comfy than any dressy shoes short or tall and easy to walk in. Buying in more colors and hoping other born shoes are the same-if so I have no issue spending on them

Bought my standard size 7, the bottom of the shoe was soft like a pillow. The straps were very tight and I have narrow feet. They were hard to get on and were pinching. The length of the size was not true to size. I could have/ should have sized up maybe even a full jump to an 8. These sandals were cute, nice pillow bottoms, but way too small. Ouch. Return.
